Adult Studies

Here at CSCUMC we offer many Adult Bible classes:

COMING THIS FALL –

When Christians Get it Wrong – Sunday Study -- This study, taught by the pastor, is for those who question and may have doubts about their faith, for those who want to come to grips with other religions, for those who may have been hurt by the church and for those who may be considering leaving the church.  Discussions can open us up to new perspectives that can lead to new ways of teaching and leading.

Companions in Christ – This study, facilitated by the pastor,  examines what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus.  We begin with “the why” we want this and then move through “the how” to establish and deepen an ongoing relationship with Christ.  This study is offered at two different times to accommodate your schedule:

Tuesday – 1:00 PM

Thursday – 7:00 PM

Monday Bible Study – Group discussion, facilitated by Linda Egloff, offered in the church library on Monday at 11:00 AM.

UPON REQUEST:  Understanding our Spiritual Gifts and How to Use Them for God’s Work – This is an excellent study which helps us to investigate several areas which pinpoint our spiritual gifts.  Some of those areas are: skills and talents, resources, and personality traits.  The discussions also help individuals to identify areas in which they can serve God’s purpose.
